Exchange Server Database Repair

If the Exchange DB’s dont mount you can follow the steps below.

Firstly, please check the databases state. If the state is in Dirty shutdown as mentioned below please try to repair.

you can try to repair first the database.

Then the command completes succesfully, try to mount the stores.

If you might get error like “Operation terminated with error -1216 (JET_errAttachedDatabaseMismatch” etc…

You have to do hard recovery as mention below.

When the command completes succesfully you have to do defragment the database.

Before the defragment task, rename the log files folders then recreate with the samename
